A beertail is a cocktail, made even better with the addition of our botanical beers. Here are some of our favorites; tweak them and let them serve as inspiration for your own creations. This Pale Paloma is a cheeky American & Mexican hybrid of tequila, grapefruit juice, syrup and Lowlander Grapefruit Pale Ale for a refreshing and smoothening beertail with a touch of bitterness.

  • 30 ml Ocho Tequila
  • 20 ml spicy sumac syrup
  • 20 ml grapefruit juice
  • 100 ml Lowlander Grapefruit Pale Ale
  • Glass: highball with ice
  • Garnish: grapefruit wedge
Mix tequila, grapefruit juice and sumac syrup in a cocktail glass filled with ice cubes.  Top off with Lowlander Pale Ale.
(For the spicy sumac syrup: bring to boil 200ml water. Take off the heat, add 2 tbsp of dried sumac, 1/2 red pepper without seeds and 200 ml sugar. Stir to dissolve, sieve and store in the fridge).
