This beertail is made with a soft and smooth tequila which tastes amazing with our hoppy, fruity American Pale Ale. Together with the grapefruit juice, this beertail is refreshing and smoothening with a touch of bitterness.

Ingredients

  • 30ml Ocho Tequila
  • 20ml Spicy Sumac Syrup
  • 20ml Grapefruit Juice
  • 100ml American Pale Ale
  • Ice

Garnish: Salted Pink Grapefruit Wedge (Sumac salt)

Glass: Highball

Method

Fill a highball with ice. Stir all ingredients and strain into the glass over ice. Garnish with a Salted Pink Grapefruit Wedge.

Spicy sumac syrup:

  • 2 tablespoons of dried Sumac
  • Half chili pepper without seeds
  • 200ml Water
  • 200gr Crystal sugar

Put the water in the pan, let boil and add the pepper and dried sumac. Keep it hot for 15 minutes, add the sugar, let dissolve and cool down.
