Our curiosity of botanicals has taken us to the Hortus Botanicus, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world, and together we have developed a 3 course tasting menu where we explore matching their delicious food to our 3 botanicals beers. We do this by taking the very same botanicals we use in our brewing process and picking them fresh from their garden – to create an evening full flavour and character.
Join us for this unique experience where you can dine under the large oak trees in one of the most beautiful and idyllic locations of Amsterdam.

About Lowlander Beer
The Netherlands literally means the ‘low lands’ as much of its land is at or below sea level. living with the constant threat of water, there was only one thing to do – conquer it. The Lowlanders ended up all over the world returning with precious cargos of herbs and spices. it wasn’t long before these botanicals made it into beer…. inspired by intrepid travel to far away lands and the abundance of exotic herbs and spices discovered there, we brew with botanicals to create beers full of both flavour and character.
