Press release – After last year’s success, HEMA and botanical brewer Lowlander come together for King’s Day once more for a brand new version of the famous tompouce beer. Completely in style of the orange theme, they present the Tompouce I.P.A. (5%), a juicy milkshake I.P.A. with a zesty finish.

What happens when two brands typical of the Lowlands shake hands to recreate two legendary Dutch items and turn them into one? Magic. Fluffy, silky smooth magic – captured in a can. HEMA and botanical brewer Lowlander created a brand new version of their ever famous tompouce beer. The well known association of HEMA’s orange tompouce for King’s Day, inspired Lowlander to create an orange version of the tompouce beer. With a zing of fresh orange and a subtle hint of creamy vanilla, this Tompouce I.P.A. is a dream (team) come true.

“After the success of the Tompouce Ale, we felt it was the perfect time to come up with something new. With an orange-filled celebration like King’s Day, HEMA’s tompouce turns orange too. Of course our tompouce beer couldn’t stay behind. So we traded the raspberries for the subtle sweet flavour of orange and added vanilla once more for the creamy finish. This time we decided to go for an I.P.A. to give the beer more depth and a pleasant bitter. A delicious combination, if you ask us. Besides, the Tompouce I.P.A. is brewed with reclaimed oranges from bars and restaurants. This proves how residual flows are still full of flavour and we demonstrate how food waste can be prevented too”, says Frederik Kampman, Chief Botanical Officer Lowlander.

The botanically brewed Tompouce I.P.A. contains vanilla en is brewed with reclaimed orange peels. The milkshake I.P.A. layered fruit tones and a refreshing finish. Curious about the flavour explosion of this limited edition orange Tompouce I.P.A.? It is now available at HEMA and in the Lowlander webshop.
