We have just discovered that our beers have been awarded multiple medals at the International Beer Challenge 2016. For 20 years the International Beer Challenge in London has rewarded and promoted excellent beers from around the globe.Judges include some of the shrewdest beer judges in the land – retailers, importers, bar-owners , brewers, writers and flavour analysts. And this year it is our Lowlander I.P.A. and our White Ale which received the bronze medal and the design and packaging all of our three bottles were awarded with a gold medal!
We are incredibly proud to have been awarded the medals at the International Beer Challenge 2016 competition, especially as it has come so early in our journey, having only launched Lowlander Beer last year. At Lowlander Beer we do things differently by brewing with botanicals and it is incredibly rewarding to be recognised that this works, both in terms of the beers, the stories that inspired them and their design.
The Chairman of the Design & Packaging category at the IBC, Paul Foulkes-Arellano, said about us that “The IBC design and packaging judges were blown away by the creativity of the Lowlander Beer range awarding it one of the very few gold medals given each year. There is an enormous amount of thought and wit in the design and illustrations, which makes this a truly memorable brand.”
