Key Account Manager – On Trade & Wholesale

Lowlander was launched early in 2016 and the first 3,5 years has been nothing short of an adventure. We started off by brewing differently: with botanicals, to give extra flavour and character to our beers. Consumers love what we are doing. We are one of the fastest growing beers in the Netherlands. We have launched in London, Manchester, Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen & Hong Kong and are now available in more than 3000 accounts. In 2017 we were listed as the top 100 Food & Beverage Innovators and we recently won 4 awards at the World Beer Awards and another 4 at the International Beer Challenge in London. And our journey has just begun…

We are on a mission to broaden the horizons of beer. We are going to become a must stock beer here in our home market the Lowlands (Netherlands); one bottle, one bar, one city at the time. As our Key Account Manager you are going to drive this vision at our Key Customers from the ground up. In our home market you will be leading sales growth with On Trade Groups & Wholesalers closing deals, activating the brand and ensure execution is flawless. You will open new accounts, work with existing wholesalers, partners and key accounts to get them fired up, and find clever ways to get more and more explorers excited about our intriguing range of botanically brewed beers.

  • Talking to one of your regional sales colleagues about growth strategie for a regional wholesaler.
  • Spending time with wholesalers to get them as excited about Lowlander as you are.
  • Making an account plan how to further improve our rate of sale in our top 100 accounts.
  • Spending a day in trade: in the morning a training to the sales force of a wholesaler, the afternoon a sales drive with one of our own sales ambassadors followed by a masterclass for bartenders so they can recommend Lowlander and then finally some beertails in the hottest cocktail bar that stocks Lowlander.
  • Heading over to a Hotel Chain who just started stocking Lowlander Beers to train a group of F&B managers and other staff so they can recommend Lowlander.
